Valentine's day is wonky

Even though wendy is a weirdo, she is not the only one. :) I have always seen valentine's day as the "Fascist" corporate evil world trying to get us to buy stuff when there are better uses for that money, - at least Charity. I am worried about how easily my people buy into this commercialization. I thoroughly enjoyed the Daily Show's story on Valentine's day pointing out that Saint Valentine was beheaded . . . ever so poignant. How this historical figure has come to be a symbol to buy buy buy is interetsting. The good thing about valentine's day, however, is the chocolate goes on sale the next day. weeee . . . now I must eat salad for a month :(
