I defended my dissertation successfully on Thursday and so it is official, I am a doctor.
:)
Although I have to make some minor changes to the "document' as I call it. It has been a long process with many wonderful experiences and many stressful ones. I am glad it is over! I will miss the luxury of being a student, but I am ready to move on.
I can now finally clean my house!
and go to movies
and visit family and friends
and who knows what else I will use to fill all this free time . . . . .

CONGRATULATIONS, Dr. Ginny-bo-Binny! Wow, what an accomplishment. I am so very proud of you --- of course I've known all along that you'd do it. It ain't no surprise! (Can you tell I'm no where near a doctoral education?)
If we were back in school, we'd be driving around in Wendy's big junker looking for trouble to celebrate!
yeah, and if we were driving around, we'd probably end up with something we didn't own, like a newspaper rack . .. :)
I think that wasn't a newspaper rack... wasn't that a "sock dryer"?
Dr. Ginny, congrats! I am so proud of you. Now you have that much more time to blog!
